For owners & managers

Turn your Wi‑Fi into a business tool.

High control and near‑zero effort. Tagnect adds dynamic, per‑customer access and live oversight on top of the network hardware you already own — no rip‑and‑replace.

The unfair advantage

A tag that costs cents, working for you 24/7

Passive NFC tags have no battery and no cables. They're durable and cost only cents — so cheap you can treat them as a disposable supply. Stick them on tables, counters, menus, keycard envelopes, or hand them out as keychains.

  • Cents per tagLose one, throw it away — the loss is negligible.
  • ReusableReturned tags work again with no re‑registration.
  • No new hardwareWorks with UniFi, Omada, Meraki and other controllers you may already run.

Where it pays off

Built for real counters, tables and rooms

Counter & small retail

Place the tag by the register. To get high‑speed access, the customer walks up and taps — creating a face‑to‑face moment that's perfect for an impulse upsell (a coffee, a pastry, a counter product).

🍽️

Restaurants & cafés

One tag per table (a resin sticker or on the menu). Guests connect instantly; set a session time (e.g. 90 min) and access expires natively in the controller — so people outside the venue don't keep leeching your Wi‑Fi.

🏨

Hotels & hospitality

Stick the tag on the keycard envelope or the keychain. If a guest keeps or loses it, the replacement cost is minimal; if they return it, reuse it. For a laptop in the room, the guest's already‑connected phone authorizes it in seconds.

You're in control

Fine‑grained rules, from one dashboard

Tagnect applies its own credential and session policies everywhere; traffic controls such as bandwidth, quota, VLAN and isolation depend on the capabilities of the connected controller.

Session time

Set how long access lasts before it expires.

Device limits

Cap simultaneous devices per tag to curb sharing.

Speed & quota

Shape bandwidth and data allowance per group.

Schedules & grace

Open by hours of the day, with a configurable grace period.

The Master Manager's console

One console, every access policy

From a web console in your browser — on your phone, tablet or computer — the Master Manager administers tenants, groups, policies, NTags and permissions. The user and Secondary Manager apps for iOS and Android are in preparation for the app stores.

🗂️

Groups & profiles

Organize access into groups — Guests, Staff, VIP — and set each group's policy: session time, device limits, and traffic controls where the controller supports them.

🏷️

NTags

Register, name and retire NTags, and assign each one to a group. A returned tag is reused with no re‑registration.

👥

Secondary managers

Invite staff as Secondary Managers with scoped roles — let them onboard guests or run one group without handing over full control.

🔢

OTP access

Issue one‑time passwords for devices without NFC — laptops, smart TVs, consoles. An OTP inherits its group's rules and can be tied to a single device.

Two ways in

Great tech shouldn't be a big‑chain privilege

Whether you already run professional gear or just want something that works out of the box, there's a Tagnect for you.

🔌

Already have UniFi, Omada or Meraki?

Software only. Tagnect orchestrates the controller you already own — no rip‑and‑replace, no new boxes. Run it from the Master Manager web console in your browser.

📦

No professional network? No problem.

A low‑cost Tagnect Ready router can bring the core Tagnect experience — NFC onboarding, rotating credentials and managed access duration — to smaller venues without requiring enterprise‑grade network hardware. It can be supplied pre‑provisioned for the tenant, keeping on‑site setup to a minimum; final installation can be handled by the responsible MSP or partner.
